INGREDIENTS –
- 75grams – Butter, at Room Temp.
- 70 grams Pwd. Sugar
- 110 grams All purpose Flour
- 2tsp Cocoa Powder
- Few drops of Vanilla essence
METHOD –
- Mix the butter, sugar, and vanilla essence together, with a hand mixer, till it’s light and fluffy.
- Add the flour and mix together to make a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into two.
- Mix cocoa powder in one half.
- Roll out both the doughs into rectangles on butter paper – try to get them to roughly the same size.
- Place the chocolate dough on top of the vanilla dough and roll them together tightly using the butter paper (avoid using your hands directly).
- Chill the dough for a while.
- Preheat your oven to 170°C.
- Slice the dough into roughly 1/3″ slices.
- Spread them out on a greased tray and bake for 13/15min.
- Cool them on a wire rack after bringing out of the oven. Aaaand enjoy!
